Every Of Lakilands puppy is delivered with pedigree, identification microchip, veterinary record with the vaccinations and worming appropriate to its age, sales contract, feeding recommendations and a settling-in guide. You will also have our support before, during and after its arrival, for the whole of its life.

The price depends on each litter and dog, so we prefer to discuss it with you directly. What we can tell you upfront is that the price always includes everything above: pedigree, microchip, up-to-date veterinary record, contract and lifelong support. Write to us and we will be glad to talk it through.

We breed only a few litters a year, so we usually work with a waiting list. The process is simple: you write to us, we talk about the breed and your lifestyle, we let you know about upcoming litters and, when we find the right puppy for you, we formalise the reservation. We then share its growth with you until it comes home.

Puppies go to their new homes from 8 to 9 weeks, once they have completed their first socialisation stage and their first vaccinations and worming.

We are in Miguelturra, Ciudad Real. You are welcome to meet the breeder and our dogs by arranging a visit.

Yes. We ship worldwide and handle the entire international transport process: paperwork, passport, the destination country's health requirements and the flight. We have dogs living all over the world —Europe, the United States, Colombia and Asia, among others— so it is a process we know well and carry out with the utmost care for their welfare.

Health is non-negotiable. Our breeding dogs are DNA tested and screened for hips, elbows and eyes (retinas), among others. We plan every mating studying pedigree, health, structure, movement and temperament, never on demand.

It is a rustic, robust breed with a long life expectancy. Even so, responsible breeding with health-tested parents is the best guarantee, which is why it is the foundation of everything we do. You can read more on our health and breeding page.

The coat is hard and weather-resistant, and is maintained with regular brushing and periodic hand-stripping to keep its correct texture and colour. We will show you how, or point you to a specialist groomer.

Yes, it is affectionate, fun and very bonded to its people, but remember it is a terrier: active, intelligent and full of character. It needs daily exercise, consistent training and early socialisation. Ideal for committed families who enjoy a bright dog with personality.

Well socialised from a puppy, it lives happily with children and other dogs. As a true terrier, introductions to very small animals should be done sensibly. We will guide you through that adjustment.
